WHAT ARE THE OPTIONS FOR ALERTING?
WHAT ARE THE OPTIONS FOR ALERTING?
It is of great relevance to install an alarm system that reaches all employees throughout the company safely and quickly! But what options are there for alerting?
An alarm system should always be adapted to the corresponding requirement profile of the area of application.
In banking, for example, a silent alarm can be triggered discreetly. It is triggered quickly and silently at the touch of a button, foot switch or key combination, without attracting much attention from the perpetrator.
The aim is to inform all employees and emergency services about dangerous situations such as violent attacks, fires or other emergencies. The appropriate countermeasures can then be initiated.
To ensure reliable alerting, there are a number of effective options:
- Silent alarm
- Acoustic alarm
- Optical alarm
- Internalarm
- Externalarm
- Remote alarm
They can all be linked to IDERI note. Via the alerting software, for example, all employees can be informed via push message regarding the respective hazardous situation.
Type of alarm transmission
Silent alarm
The silent alarm is suitable, for example, to inform employees directly and without much fuss. For example, staff receive a push message directly on the screen of their computer or mobile device.
Acoustic alarm
An audible alarm is a sound alarm that reaches all employees via a clearly audible signal tone. The audible alarm is especially suitable for reaching employees who are further away. Especially those who are not near a computer and do not have a mobile device for notification.
Optical alarm
A visual alarm is a visual warning signal that immediately informs all employees of a hazardous situation, for example, via a light. It is installed in all premises.
Internalarm
An internal alarm alerts all persons within a specific object without triggering an external or remote alarm. It is exclusively linked to an armed alarm system in the protected object and generates an acoustic or visual alarm signal.
Externalarm
The external alarm is an alarm signal that is forwarded to external emergency and service control centers such as the fire department or police. It thus provides the responsible agencies with tactical options for dealing with the danger.
Remote alarm
With a remote alarm, distant locations are notified immediately. This means that, for example, the police, security services, fire department or paramedics are informed directly about the situation. This makes it easier to take countermeasures.
